Display Client Issues

The Display Client is the output screen. If PosterFlow Admin looks correct but the display is wrong, focus on display selection, monitor order, rotation, and whether the live configuration was pushed to the client.

Display is blank

Check:

  • the Display Client is open
  • the selected library, collection, provider feed, or schedule contains posters
  • the correct display/monitor is selected
  • the Display Client is not hidden behind another window
  • the PC did not sleep or turn off the display

Wrong monitor

Windows can change monitor numbering when displays are unplugged, powered off, or rearranged. If PosterFlow opens on the wrong screen:

  1. confirm Windows display arrangement first
  2. reopen PosterFlow Admin
  3. open display settings
  4. choose the intended monitor
  5. relaunch the Display Client

Poster is rotated incorrectly

Use rotation settings to match the physical display:

  • normal orientation
  • 90° clockwise
  • 180° upside down
  • 270° counterclockwise

Changes do not appear on the display

If you changed settings in Admin Console but the Display Client did not update:

  • save the setting
  • use the live/push workflow if available
  • restart the Display Client
  • confirm the active schedule or collection is the one you edited

Multi-monitor notes

Configure the primary/parent display first. After that, tune additional child display windows or secondary screens if your build supports them.
