Updates
PosterFlow updates may include Admin Console changes, Display Client changes, plugin updates, website/download changes, or activation/supporter flow improvements.
Stable and Early Access
PosterFlow may refer to build channels in release notes:
| Channel | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Stable | Recommended build for most users when available. |
| Early Access | Newer supporter builds that may change more often. |
Early Access describes the maturity and supporter availability of a build. It should not be confused with optional support links such as Buy Me a Coffee.
Update checklist
Before updating:
- close PosterFlow Admin and any Display Client windows
- download the latest installer from the official PosterFlow website or access link
- run the installer
- open PosterFlow Admin
- confirm the app version shown in the app or release notes
- test the Display Client after the update
Release notes
A good release note should tell users:
- the version number
- the release date
- what changed
- what was fixed
- known issues, if any
- whether the update is Stable or Early Access
After an update
If something looks different after an update, check the release notes first. Early Access builds may rename options, adjust layouts, change plugin behavior, or improve display handling as the app develops.
