Transitions
Transitions control how the display moves from one poster to the next. They help PosterFlow feel more like a dedicated display system than a static image viewer.
Common transition styles
PosterFlow builds may include transition options such as:
- Fade
- Slide
- Zoom
- Ink Bleed
Available transitions may vary by release.
Transition duration
Transition duration controls how long the movement or effect takes. Shorter durations feel snappier. Longer durations feel more cinematic but may become distracting if posters rotate frequently.
Delay between posters
The delay controls how long each poster remains visible before the next change. For a room display, choose a delay long enough for people to actually read the poster before it changes.
Choosing a style
| Goal | Suggested approach |
|---|---|
| Clean and subtle | Fade |
| More motion | Slide |
| Cinematic emphasis | Zoom or Ink Bleed |
| Event display | Match the transition to the mood of the collection |
Troubleshooting transitions
If transitions look choppy, reduce the effect intensity or duration, test with fewer background effects, and confirm the display machine is not overloaded.
